We celebrated our 150th Anniversary with an in-school event on 7th October 2011 

We were pleased to welcome back some former members of staff including three former principals, Mr Charles McCollum, Mrs Rhona Sleator & Mrs Isabel Adams.Our guests of honor were the two eldest surviving past pupils Ms Agnes Moffett & Mrs Olive Chambers who helped cut the anniversary cake. Mr Raymond Wilkinson, a past pupil of the school gave a very interesting talk on the history of the school. To read this speech Click Here

To mark the occasion an oak tree was planted in the school grounds by the three former principals assisted by present principal Linda Mills.

Past pupils and friends were invited to join us to celebrate this important milestone at two additional events:  a Service of Thanksgiving held in St Patrick's Church on Saturday 24th March 2012 and an Anniversary Banquet in the Hillgrove Hotel on Friday 23rd March 2012.
